Worum geht es in Kyousougiga?
Versteckt in Kyoto, liegt die „Mirror Capital“ ein Ort, an dem Youkai und Menschen in Frieden zusammenleben und niemand stirbt. Überwacht und beschützt wird die Stadt hierbei von Kurama, Yase und Myoue, die zusammen auf die Rückkehr ihrer Eltern warten. Eines Tages betritt ein Mädchen Namens Koto die Stadt und, zusammen mit ihren beiden Brüdern A und Un, sorgt sie für mächtig Wirbel in der sonst so friedlichen „Mirror“. Es ist nämlich ungeklärt ob sie ein menschliches Wesen oder ein Youkai ist, da sie über ein sehr untypisches Erscheinungsbild verfügt.
